Agronomic tests

Assess the effectiveness and sustainability of using treated effluents and microbial biomass for fertigation.

Assess the effectiveness and sustainability of using treated effluents and microbial biomass for fertigation, aiming to improve crop productivity, soil quality, and resilience while reducing reliance on conventional water sources. It includes ecotoxicological tests on treated effluents to evaluate their impact on model plants and agronomic assessments of germination, growth, productivity, and stress responses of crops.

Evaluate the soil amendment potential of the microbial biomasses, aiming to counteract soil degradation and desertification processes. The solutions tested and selected will be applied in the field, engaging local farmers, in two climatic areas: Mediterranean and semi-arid.
