The University of Ljubljana (UL) in Slovenia is a recognized leader in Advanced Oxidation Processes, with particular expertise in ozonation and photocatalysis. UL plays a vital role in ensuring the environmental safety of project solutions through ecotoxicological assessment of treated water. It advances ozonation and photo-oxidation treatments, while also contributing to the project by analyzing effluents from agri-food supply chains. UL supports the selection of suitable AOPs for rural applications, evaluates ecotoxicological impacts, and helps design and develop modular treatment systems.
