The RE-FRESH Kick-off Workshop will bring together the University of Tunis El Manar team on 10–11 October 2026 at Le Sultan Hotel in Hammamet, Tunisia, for a closed coordination event.
The RE-FRESH – REsilient agriFood system through REuse and Safe Handling of effluents project, funded under the PRIMA programme, will hold its Kick-off Workshop on 10–11 October 2026 in Tunisia.
This event will officially launch the project’s activities and bring together the University of Tunis El Manar (UTM) team to discuss the project’s main objectives and priorities.
The workshop will be held as a closed event at Le Sultan Hotel in Hammamet, providing a suitable setting for scientific discussions and activity coordination. Discussions will focus on sustainable water management, wastewater treatment and reuse, Nature-Based Solutions, and innovative treatment technologies.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to define responsibilities, activities, and the implementation schedule for the different Work Packages of the project. It will serve as an important platform for strengthening team coordination, promoting knowledge sharing, and defining the first research activities.
Through this workshop, the UTM team will actively contribute to the implementation of an integrated approach towards more sustainable and resilient water resource management.
RE-FRESH is thus part of a dynamic effort in research, innovation, and collaboration aimed at building more resilient agrifood systems and a more sustainable future.
